Oh yeah, we started Alpha with a bang tonight. First we played an evolutionary gone wrong game (Egg & Chicken) followed by a totally SS game of making the longest line, then ended with Mafia which Sonia totally beat the heck out of everyone to end up being the coolest undetected mafia! Real good mafia, girl! Then we had P&W led by Jenny, and onto the sharing by Caroline. One said the jokes were lame (ish... can't please everybody, huh?) but I hope the sharing got through. It was pretty enjoyable, judging from the ruckus and noise levels during the refreshment. We had pizza and soft drinks and that always put everyone in a good mood, no?
We had 24 youths altogether tonight and it was really fun to see everyone there. Hannah T brought 2 friends, Melvin & Melissa, and we also had Vanessa who came to give us moral support, thanks so much, Vanessa, you're the best. Of course we enticed her to stay on longer, but like I said, no pressure.. hahahahah.. Tonight's sharing was on 'Christianity, is it boring? untrue? irrelevant?' and the answer is a big fat NO! Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and with him on our side, our lives are full of meaning, purpose and fun!
We haven't announced our blog to everyone yet, but we will get there eventually, more like next meeting k? So ta.. and everyone, make sure you go to church tomorrow huh? Have a blessed day!
