here goes ..hopefully won't bore u all to death lah. well currently have onli worked about 10 days but after a session with a senior i kinda found out what is required of me.
As a CRA (Clinical Research Assosciate) I have the responsibility of looking after a site that is doing research. Basically this involves frequent visits to a site to determine the progress of the research being done. Besides that, CRA are supposed to check if the ppl doing reserach are not violating any protocol and of course ethics issues becos this research mostly involve human subjects (dun worry it's my job to make sure that the researchers dun treat u all like guinea pigs hehehe).
This job also requires an eye for minute details so that whenever our sponsor have any questions, we can answer them.Since this job also involve big names in the phramaceutical industry so it's quite stress as well.
So in short, a CRA is basically a watchdog that makes sure that all research is done properly and without endangering other ppl's lives.
At the moment, i'm pretty much settled in ..just that i dun have any internet connection (why why why??!! can't live without you !!) but i'm still doing fine hehehe
oh and from time to time i'll post some stuff to caroline ... some inspirational stuff or some teachings i've manage to find but anyways if u can't wait ..there's always my blog zecount.multiply.com (self promo pula hahaha ).
